What Lies Beneath – A Short Story by ZBT

For many years now, people had suspected many things about Nerissa’s lake. She had always done her best to keep what lay at the bottom of the sprawling expanse of water ringed on all sides by thick oak forests a secret from prying human eyes. But nothing could stop the threat of time and drought. Continue reading “What Lies Beneath – A Short Story by ZBT”

Review: Lady Midnight

First things first, this book is both very heavy (both physically and emotionally) and very emotionally destructive. Do not undertake the reading of this book lightly.

Emma Carstairs remembers The Dark War well. She and her now-parabatai, Julian Blackthorn both fought in Alicante when they were only twelve years old. Now, five years on, they are faced with a new threat. There have been a series of murders near the Los Angeles Institute and Emma has taken it upon herself to investigate them. Thrust into a confusing maze of underground societies and secrets hidden in the darkness of the past, Emma and the Blackthorns of the LA Institute attempt to unravel exactly why humans and faeries alike are being killed by a faceless enemy. An Adventure In Pictures.

Recently I’ve come to the conclusion that filming a music video, even one that is only for a film and TV assignment, can take you to some pretty amazing places. Myself and two of my friends and classmates decided on going to Gardener’s Falls and Bribie Island to collect the footage we needed to pull of an A standard music video.
