There are few things in life that I love more than scrolling through photos. There’s something wonderful about seeing a moment in time captured in a still image forever and the feeling of taking the perfect photograph is, at least in my opinion, one of the best feelings in the world. Taking a photo is, in today’s world, extremely easy, however taking a good photo is a very different thing. It’s not just whipping out your phone and snapping a quick selfie, it’s learning how the things around you can look beautiful, no matter how mundane they may seem.
So, as I said in the beginning, I want to share the things that I love most with you guys through this blog. Here are a few of my favourite photos that I found.
In all honesty, I don’t know who took this photo, probably either me or my sister, but it’s really cute. That’s my dog Dayana and she is just beautiful–one of my favourite things to take photos of.
Another thing that I love taking and seeing photos of is sunlight through the branches of a tree. There’s something fairy-like about it, casting the world below into wonderful hues of green and gold.
Cute little flowers and leaves are another thing that look great in a photo. Something as tiny and simple as this can be just what you need to see.
I don’t think I even though about the framing in this shot, it just kinda seemed to work out really well. In reality I just didn’t want to walk across the road to get a picture of the view so I took it right from where I stood. (Thanks for modelling, Tom)
I took this photo on Christmas day last year, I was sitting in my hammock, reading my book and I saw how the sun came through the ropes and though that it looked really cool.
Hope you guys enjoyed my little photo album there. Let me know if you want me to do more of these. Thanks for reading.
