How was everyone’s Easter? Good? Bad? Non-existent because you live in a country that doesn’t force Christian tradition on every single one of it’s residents? Either way, that’s cool.
Personally I spent the morning reading and watching Guardians of the Galaxy for about the 20th time (I love that movie so much). Then I went with my family to Red Beach on Bribie Island where, naturally, it rained (thanks Queensland weather), then we went for fish and chips which were absolutely delicious. Now I’m sitting on my couch and I’ve just started my quad-annual Harry Potter marathon which I do every school holidays.

I have one thing in my bedroom that I take great pride in: my bookshelf.
Books are a big part of my life so I like to make sure that my shelf always looks exactly the way I want it to. The shelves themselves are, if I remember correctly, from Fantastic Furniture and they cost about $100. They’re white open shelves with X frames on the sides.

There are few things in life that I love more than scrolling through photos. There’s something wonderful about seeing a moment in time captured in a still image forever and the feeling of taking the perfect photograph is, at least in my opinion, one of the best feelings in the world. Taking a photo is, in today’s world, extremely easy, however taking a good photo is a very different thing. It’s not just whipping out your phone and snapping a quick selfie, it’s learning how the things around you can look beautiful, no matter how mundane they may seem.

If you have spoken to me in the past few weeks you will probably have found out that I’ve been reading the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas. I received the series as a Christmas present last year (thanks a tonne Mum & Dad) and have been completely obsessed with it ever since.
The series follows the adventures of Celaena Sardothien, an assassin with a very dark and complicated past. She is enslaved in the salt mines of Endovier until the Crown Prince offers her a deal, however, this deal will men that she has to work for the man who slaughtered her family and enslaved her country.
